My name is Susan Grayson, and I have been teaching for 16 years. I am currently teaching 4th grade Reading and Social Studies at Pinckney Elementary. My husband and I are expecting a baby girl in May.
Movie Maker Skills Demo Project:
Classroom Connections:
Digital storytelling will integrate up to date technology in my classroom and allow students another way to research and share their knowledge in Social Studies.
My 4th grade students can further explore a specific topic like the American Revolution or the Civil War by finding related videos, still pictures and documents, recording information and research that they have found and incorporate it in to a presentation for learning. This is a great way for students to extend their research and creativity to a higher level.
